Oil Drum Art
Using recycled oil barrels, students paint environmental scenes to depict the way they would like the world to be - clean, safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly. Oil drums come in two sizes, 55 gallon and 10 gallon. Students collaborate on an assigned drum with a theme, create their own drawings, then transfer them on to the oil drum, and paint their designs together. Drums can be used as school recycling containers, storage containers, planters, trash containers, etc.
